OLIVER NAKAKANDE TO KEEP CROWN AS MISS UGANDA PAGEANT GETS POSTPONED!

Reigning Miss Uganda beauty queen, Olivier Nakakande will keep hold of the crown for at least another year as the 2020 edition of the pageant has been postponed to 2021 due to the ravaging Coronavirus. According to the CEO of the pageant, Brenda Nanyonjo, they had no option but to push the pageant to next year because of the prevailing circumstances. “On a positive note 2021 will mark ten years of the Miss Uganda franchise under Kezzi Entertainment and we look forward to a big celebration as we crown a new queen,” Nanyonjo said. Nanyonjo also confirmed that Nakakande, who was crowed in 2019 will continue with her reign and all the other title holders for one more year. The development comes at a time when Miss World Organization, through its CEO Julia Morley had also announced that they had pushed this year’s edition of Miss World where national beauty queen compete for the world crown
