Former Kampala Mayor Al hajji Nasser Ntege Ssebagala has confirmed that he will stand again for the Kampala Lord Mayor seat in the forthcoming elections. “Yes, I am going to contest in this coming election and my manifesto is ready,” Ssebagala revealed while talking to this website today from his home. Ssebagala is back in the race and hopes to use Bobi Wine’s People Power ticket to regain Kampala’s top Job. Ssebagala already returned his nomination forms to the People Power offices and claims his experience makes him exceptional from other candidates especially since he served in the position before from 2006 to 2011. Seya awaits to battle with Chameleone on who will stand for the post on the People Power ticket as both picked the party’s nomination forms for the same position. Among other candidates expected to vie for this position are Musician Ragga Dee, Kampala woman MP Naggayi Nabilah Sempala, Godfrey Nyakana and incumbent Erias Lukwago among others.
However many Kampala people are hesitant to support Sebaggala owing to his previous time at the helm of Kampala and his recent change of goal posts that saw him hobnob with Museveni.
Will you vote for Seya as your next Mayor?
