MUSEVENI SUSPENDS PUBLIC TRANSPORT FOR 14 DAYS.

President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda has suspended all means of public transport in Uganda in a bid to minimize movement of Ugandans as the fight against the deadly corona virus intensifies.

He has gone ahead to caution those with private means that only 3 people will be allowed to travel in the car.The directive takes effect immediately and those affected include Taxis,buses,Tuku Tukus,Coasters and boda bodas.

However trucks and delivery vans as well as pick ups carrying food and other essential commodities have been allowed to continue plying their journey.

TUKU TUKUs and BODA BODAs CAN ONLY OPERATE IF THEY ARE CARRYING FOOD AND ESSENTIAL COMMODITIES AND NOT PEOPLE,M7 says.The ban takes immediate effect and will go on for the next 14 days.
