Opposition strongman Kiiza Besigye’s son graduated from the prestigious American University, Harvard University. Anselm graduated with a major in Anthropology and Besigye just couldn’t wait to break the news to his countrymen and women. Educating a child from the lowest to the highest levels is one great achievement for parents. The politician took to his social media platforms to announce the news to his followers. “Our son Anselm officially closed his undergraduate studies yesterday and graduated among the Harvard Class of 2021. He graduated from the faculty of Arts with a major in Anthropology. Unfortunately, the ceremony was virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic.” Besigye posted on Twitter. Additionally, the four-time presidential aspirant said that he was delighted about the hardwork of his son. “We are delighted about his work that afforded him to graduate with a distinction. His thesis was among the 2021 Thomas Temple Hopes Prize Winners for an ‘excellent undergraduate work and excellence in the art of teaching.” Besigye added. He also added that this thesis would be put in the Harvard University library and Anselm would get prize money worth $5000 USD. Besigye concluded by thanking his wife Winnie Byanyima for raising their son. The liberation struggle of the country apparently took much of his time.
