“I know that many of our friends and fans are anxious about the status of our HipHop Brunch event which we had scheduled for this Saturday. 26th December.”
“….As you are all aware, there have been several hiccups in our preparations. These problems have been caused by the inconsistency and lack of transparency on the part of Uganda Police Force. For the past fortnight, my team and the event organizers have been tossed up and about by the police. Indeed, over two weeks ago, we approached the police and informed them about our intentions to hold the event and stating how we shall be in position to observe all the SOPs as it has been done by all the others who have been holding such events like ours.
“Till today on the 25th of December, we are yet to receive an official reply from the Uganda Police to allow our event to take place even after approaching them through all the possible means to decode and resolve this debacle”.
“I therefore take this opportunity to inform all our guests who had committed to come for this event that it is cancelled for now and we shall communicate to them when we will hold this same event in the near future”.
