The Makindye General Court Martial has today released 13 National Unity Platform supporters who were arrested in December with Robert Kyagulanyi alias BobiWine during campaigns in the area. In his ruling, the army court chairman Lt Gen Andrew Gutti said that the released 13 are not supposed to move outside Kampala and Wakiso districts without the court’s permission and to report to the court twice a month. And each is supposed to pay Shs20 million non -cash bond and each of your sureties to pay shs50 million non -cash. However, Eddie Mutwe, Nubian Li, Dan Magic and 36 others were denied bail. Lt Gen Gutti said he would rule on their bail on Monday, February 15, 2021.
